Watch Mentor's latest 'Lunchtime Live' webcast - Staying Safe Abroad

Our latest Lunchtime Live on Facebook Live and Periscope, was with author and global safety expert, Lloyd Figgins FRGS.

We discussed safeguarding workers when travelling abroad, safety tips for leisure or business, the best social media sources to find the latest international travel advice. Useful for business travellers and companies alike, where putting staff safety ahead of budgets is a essential for maintaining reputation.

Highly respected global safety expert, Lloyd, has recently written, 'Looking For Lemons', a must-have travel survival guide, for work or leisure.

Lloyd has worked on crisis communications courses with Mentor over several years, and has appeared on Sky News as an expert.

Last month, Mentor became the first UK media training company to go 'live' on Facebook and Twitter simultaneously, delivering a crisis communications 'webcast' with our experts.

In what are regular 'Media Training Live' events and discussions with associates and experts, the 'VODs' launched our new training website with a bang!

We figure that if we're training our clients to go on camera and do live interviews, we should embrace cutting edge technological advances, ourselves.

To assist companies who may want to do the same, our blog about how we achieve it and the best ways to interact with viewers, is also on our news page.

We 'Face-cast' live through our Facebook.com/mentortrainer page and Twitter, (via Periscope), with @lloydfiggins.

The beauty of being live, is that Facebook and Periscope allow you the viewer, to ask us questions and feedback on the topics raised.

You can watch this webcast ON DEMAND below.
