Flats 'n' Shanks - the 'Ant & Dec' of rugby say a fond farewell to a fantastic 6 Nations

The 'Ant & Dec' of rugby delight fans with their GWR 6 Nations punditry

The team here are delighted that our series of films for GWR for the 6 Nations Rugby test has been so well received.

The penultimate film for Wales and England's games had in excess of 90,000 views with lots of positive comments about the banter between our pundits.

This week sees the final sign-off from David Flatman and Tom Shanklin as Flats 'n' Shanks, expertly reviewing and previewing some of the most exciting games in international rugby in years.

Watch the last Flats & Shanks talking 6 Nations here!

After the huge success of GWR's previous 'Chats With Flats n Shanks' for the 'Six Nations' and Autumn international tournaments in 2016, we were re-commissioned to produce season three of our popular films.

The pair's inimitably dry repartee, offers fans a weekly resume of the key games just played, what to expect from teams for the next clash, as well as helping to remind fans about planning their rail journeys.

Filming has taken place in and around both Cardiff's Principality, (Millenium) Stadium and Twickenham. Other locations have included rugby fans' pubs and cafes and railway stations.

We'd like to thank all the staff at the stadiums and related locations for their kind cooperation in making these films possible. Oh, and Ant & Dec for the cheeky unauthorised use of their name for a headline!
